Videos and pictures of wolves allows us to see the grace, beauty and soulfulness of these almost spiritual creatures.

Just like traditional human families, wolves live together in packs that usually consist of an alpha male and an alpha female along with their pups and other juvenile members.
It is the alpha couple's responsibility to care for the other members of their group and the pack forms a very tight knit family. Their loyalty to each other is so strong that individual wolves are often willing to fight or even sacrifice themselves for other members of the family.

As beautiful and mystical as these animals may be, they also have more than their fair share of enemies, mostly of the two legged kind.
For decades man killed so many wolves that they had to be put on the Endangered Species List in 1974. Now, just a few short years and several millions dollars later, restoration efforts have finally started to pay off.
Unfortunately success may be very short-lived as they have now been prematurely taken off the Endangered Species List and are once again being targeted for mass killings.
